Kent Alan Tennis, 58, died on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Stevens County Hospital, Hugoton, KS.

The son of Dean E. and Vivian (Billbe) Tennis, he was born July 30, 1958, in Satanta, KS.

He and Connie S. Moser were married on August 1, 1980, Hugoton, KS.

He was a lifetime resident of Hugoton.

Survivors include wife, Connie Tennis, Hugoton, KS.; two sons, Israel Tennis, Hugoton, KS., Tristan Tennis & wife Jessica, Paxico, KS.; parents, Dean & Vivian Tennis, Meade, KS., three brothers, Richard Smith, Independence KS., James Tennis, Rosehill, KS., Brent Tennis & wife Jinglas, Henderson, TX., two grandchildren, Chandler & Matthew Tennis and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Smith and sister Kim Heinson.

Memorials have been established for Boy Scouts of America and Pheasant Heaven Charities. Memorials may be mailed to Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home, PO Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at 2 PM at the First Christian Church, Hugoton, KS. with Pastor Richard Martin presiding and burial at Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton, KS.

Friends may call Friday 10AM to 8PM at the funeral home.

Family will receive friends Friday 6PM to 8PM at the funeral home.

Paul’s-Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton is in charge of arrangements.

Dean and Vivian I am so very sorry for your loss of your precious son he will be missed terribly bad when I saw him a couple of weeks ago he looked really bad I didn’t talk to him he was busy talking to other people but he did look bad then God bless you all my prayers will be with you we’re not supposed to weight we’re supposed to go before our kids
